(ខ្មែរ) On 23 July 2011, I had to say good bye to the place we all call with affection “71”, SRP headquarter at 71, Sothearos Boulevard. My heart was filled with sadness because I have so many memories accumulated over the 14 years when 71 has hosted us between December 1997 and July 2011.

Sam Rainsy in Tunisia to prepare People Power in Cambodia

(ខ្មែរ) Opposition leader Sam Rainsy arrived today in Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia, in North Africa, for a three-day visit during which he will meet with local and international activists from various political and social backgrounds who have successfully fought for a regime change in this country through an unprecedented popular uprising that triggered the Arab Spring or Jasmine Revolution seven months ago.

ICJ RULING: A SHAMEFUL DEFEAT FOR THE HUN SEN GOVERNMENT

As elected representatives of the Cambodian people, we are deeply
disappointed with today’s ruling by the International Court of Justice
(ICJ) in The Hague ordering both Cambodia and Thailand to withdraw
their troops from a large area surrounding Preah Vihear temple. This
Khmer temple indisputably stands on Khmer territory and is placed
under Cambodia’s sovereignty according to a judgment by the same ICJ
in 1962.
